The Netherlands is famous for its delicious cheeses. The most popular is Dutch gouda, which we carry in the Frico brand. We offer mild, medium, aged, or extra-aged gouda; the more aged the cheese, the stronger the flavour. We also carry Frico spiced, smoked, and light (low fat) goudas. Edam is another well-liked cheese; we carry Dutch and New Zealand edam and edam balls. We also have some specialty cheeses, including Amsterdam mild, Amsterdam aged, Cantenaar, Maasdammer, and Kollumer. Amsterdam mild and aged are two delicious gouda-type cheeses, while Cantenaar is a tasty, low fat, low sodium cheese. Maasdammer is similar to a Swiss cheese and Kollumer is a very popular farmers' cheese. Douwe Egberts makes some delicious coffees and teas. Douwe Egberts coffee comes in several quality levels; DE Pickwick teas are available in many fruit and spice flavours. We also carry Buisman aroma, a coffee flavourer, as well as Droste cocaopoeder (cocoa powder). De Ruiter anijsblokjes are licorice-flavoured (anise) blocks for milk drinks. Prominent fruit syrups and Roosvicee make delicious fruit juices. We also carry Hero cassis juice. If you like pudding, try our John Moir mixes, with flavours including bitterkoekjes and rum raisin. We also carry Koopmans mixes for custard and gries-pudding. We have a variety of cake mixes from Honig, Koopmans, Atlanta, and Albert Hein, including appeltaart (apple tart) and boterkoek (butter cake). Try also our pannekoek (pancake) and poffertjes mixes; Dutch pannekoeken are large, thin pancakes, while poffertjes are rounded mini pancakes. Another great breakfast idea is Honig Brinta, a hot cereal mix. We sell a wide variety of Dutch mustards and mayonnaises, including Marne fine and coarse mustards Calve mayonnaise. Fritesaus (french fry sauce) is available in several different brands as well, including Remia and Calve.
