Conimex Mix voor Nasi Goreng

Ingredients:

1 package Conimex Mix Voor Nasi Goreng
400g (14 1/8 oz.) white rice
400g (14 1/8 oz.) unsalted pork, cubed
100g (3 ½ oz.) bacon, cubed
1 onion and 1 leek or 250g (8 ¾ oz.), sliced thin; and/or fresh vegetable of choice
2 eggs
2 tbsp (30ml) oil
100mL (½ cup) water

Directions:

  • 1.  Cook the rice according to instructions on package

  • 2.  Add the contents of the Mix voor Nasi Goreng to 1/2 cup of boiling water and cook on     low for about 10 minutes.

  • 3.  Cook the bacon in the wok oil. Drain most of the fat off.

  • 4.  Add the cubed pork and fry till brown, add the shredded onions and fry till golden and soft.  Add any other vegetables of your choice to the wok, stir fry 1 minute.

  • 5.  Add the Nasi mix and the eggs and mix well, unttill egg is cooked.

  • 6.  Finally add the rice and stir it all together over heat.

Tips and Varieties:

Marinade the meat with a Conimex Marinade.
Use Sambal and Ketjap to taste.
Serve the Nasi with omelet pieces and Peanut sauce.
Serve with Atjar tjampoer and Kroepoek
