Ingredients:

500gr (17 ½ oz) Cubed Pork or Ham
4 tbsp (60mL) Oil
1 Package of Conimex Babi Pangang (2  packages inside)

Directions:

  1. Mix the package of marinade mix with the oil.
  2. Add the cubed meat.
  3. Let the meat marinate for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat the wok without oil.
  5. Add the meat and marinade mixture to the wok and sauté until meat is fully cooked.
  6. Put the water and sauce mix in a sauce pan and bring to a boil, then let it simmer for approx. 1 minute.
  7. Serve the meat on a plate and pour the warm sauce over it.

Tips & Variations:

- Cook the marinated meat on a spit-roaster or a barbeque for a crispier taste.
-  For Ajam Pangang replace the pork with the same amount of chicken.
-  For a spicier taste add to the marinade 1tbsp (15mL) Ketjap Manis, 1 tbsp (15mL) lemon juice, and 1-2tsp (5-10mL) Sambal Oelek.
-  Add 150g (5 ¼ oz.) mushrooms.
-  Serve with rice, Atjar Tjampoer and Kroepoek.
-  Combine with Mix for Nasi Special, Bami Special or another Conimex mix.
