Ingredients:

1 package Conimex Mix voor Nasi Speciaal

400g (14 1/8 oz.) white rice
350g (12 1/3 oz.) unsalted pork in cubes
50g (1 ¾ oz.) bacon finely cut
1 shredded onion
1 leek cut in rings
2 tbsp (30mL) oil
100mL (½ cup) water

Directions:

  1. Cook the rice.  Set aside.

  2. Heat the oil in a wok or deep frying pan and cook the meat on high heat until it is done.

  3. Add the bacon and cook for 1 minute. Pour off some of the fat.

  4. Add the onion and leek and stir for 1 minute.

  5. Then add the vegetable mix package and the water and stir together.

  6. Once the water has evaporated, add the spice mix package and rice, and stir it over medium heat. Serve hot. 

Tips and Variations:

Add extra vegetables (250g (8 ¾ oz.)) of your choice, for example white cabbage, bean sprouts, mushrooms and red pepper. Mix the vegetables in with the onion and leek.
Marinade the meat with Conimex sateh marinade.
Make an omelet and serve the Nasi with omelet pieces.

Serve with Skewers of Saté and Peanut sauce.
Serve with Kroepoek, Atjar, Seroendeng and Fried onions.
Use Sambal and Ketjap to taste.
