Honig mix for Vegetable Sauce

Ingredients:

1 package Honig mix voor Groentesaus

200 ml (7/8 cup) water

Sauce for over uncooked vegetables:

  1. Bring 200ml (7/8 cup) of water to a boil.
  2. Stir in 5tbsp (75ml) of the Vegetable Sauce Powder.  Stir until smooth.
  3. Cook the sauce for 2 minutes. 
  4. Pour the sauce over the vegetables.
  5. Makes 1 cup sauce.

Sauce for over cooked vegetables:

  1. Cook the vegetables as you normally would.
  2. Drain the excess water.
  3. Stir the vegetable sauce powder into the vegetables in the pan.
  4. Cook the sauce and vegetables together for 2 minutes.
  5. Makes 1 cup sauce.

Tips:

Instead of water you can use milk.

You can add grated cheese to the sauce.

You can sprinkle parsley over top of the sauce before serving.
