Maggi Gravy with Onions

Ingredients:

50 grams butter or meat fat drippings
1 package Maggi Jus Uitjes
1/4 liter or a bit less than 1 cup of water

Directions:

  1. Melt the butter till golden brown, or heat some frying fat from prepared meat.
  2. Add 1/4 liter of water and the contents of the package.
  3. Bring to a boil stirring constantly and let it simmer for a few minutes.

Tips & Variations:

Add 50 grams (a few tablespoons) of crisply fried chopped bacon. Great over mashed potatoes.

For a more delicate gravy, stir in one tablespoon of cream after cooking.
