Ingredients:

1 Package Silvo Spice Mix for Goulash

500gr (17 ½ oz) goulash meat, i.e. round steak, stewing beef
2 Large Onions
1 Large Red Paprika
50gr (1 ¾ oz) Margarine or Butter
1 Can of Tomato Paste (70gr (2 ½ oz))
400mL (1 2/3 cup) Lukewarm Water
 

Directions:

  1. Cut the meat into cubes.
  2. Peel the onion and slice into tiny pieces.
  3. Wash the paprika; take the seeds out of the center, cut into cubes.
  4. Put the margarine or butter into a frying pan or Dutch oven and add the meat.
  5. Cook until the meat is light brown.
  6. Add the onions and paprika and cook a few minutes.
  7. Add the tomato paste to the meat and vegetables.
  8. Add the lukewarm water and package of spices and mix everything together.
  9. Cook on low temperature in Dutch oven, or transfer to a slow cooker and let cook on low for 1 ½ to 2 hours, occasionally stirring.
     

Tips:

There is no need to add salt and pepper because it is already in the spices mix.

Serve with rice or broad noodles.
