Ingredients:300gr (10 5/8 oz) Rice ½ Block Tofu 2 Whole Cloves of Garlic ½ Red Pepper Vegetable Oil to Deep-Fry 2 tbsp (30mL) Vegetable Oil about 400 grams fresh mixed vegetables, chopped, sliced. I.e.: onions, leeks, carrots, cauliflower, green cabbage. 1 Package of Knorr Mix for Nasi 2 tbsp (30mL) Ketjap Manis 2 tbsp (30mL) Fried Onions for Garnish 3 Hard Boiled Eggs, Sliced to Use as a Garnish 150mL (5/8 cup) Water |
Directions:- Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.
- Remove the seeds from the red pepper and slice into rings.
- Deep-fry the tofu until it is golden brown, then set it on some paper towel to drain excess grease.
- Heat the oil in a pan and add the garlic, pepper, and fresh vegetables; cook for about 1-2 minutes.
- Mix the package with the water.
- Bring the sauce to a boil, stirring constantly.
- Turn down to a low temperature and let the sauce cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Put the rice onto a plate and spread the sauce, tofu, and vegetables evenly over top of the rice.
- Garnish with the fried onions and the sliced hard boiled eggs.
Serves 4 people.
