Ingredients:

300gr. (10 5/8 oz) Rice
350gr. (12 1/3 oz) Chicken Fillets
1 Onion
4tbsp (60mL) Vegetable Oil
1tsp (5mL) Cumin
1tsp (5mL) Koenjit
2 tbsp (30mL) Ketjap Manis
1 Package of Knorr Mix for Nasi
Fresh Vegetables (400gr), i.e. carrots, green or white cabbage, leeks, chopped or sliced
2 tbsp (30mL) chopped  celery, use for garnish
150mL (5/8 cup) water

Directions:

  1. Cook the rice according to the instructions on the package.

  2. Cut the chicken fillets into strips and chop up the onion.

  3. With half hot oil cook the chicken until golden brown.

  4. Add the onion, Cumin, Koenjit, and the Ketjap to the meat and cook.

  5. Mix the package with the water.

  6. Bring the sauce to a boil, stirring constantly.

  7. Turn down to a low temperature and let the sauce cook for 2-3 minutes.

  8. With the remaining oil cook up the nasi vegetables.
    Put the rice onto a plate and cover with the sauce, vegetables and meat.

  9. Garnish with the chopped celery.

Serves 4 people.
