Noodles with Peas using Knorr Mix for Bami with Oriental Vegetables and Spices

Ingredients:

300g (10 ½ oz.) Mie noodles
350g (12 1/3 oz.) ham
1 onion
2 garlic cloves
150g (5 ¼ oz.) fresh peas (snap or sugar)
25g (7/8 oz.) margarine
200g (7 1/8 oz.) chopped savoy cabbage or Chinese cabbage
1 package Knorr Mix for Bami
2 tbsp (30mL) Seroendeng
2 tbsp (30mL) Dried Fried Onions
4 tbsp (60mL) Atjar Tjampoer
150mL (½ cup) water

Directions:

  1. Cook the Mie noodles.
  2. Cut the ham into pieces, chop the onion and the garlic very fine. Clean the peas. Thinly slice the cabbage.
  3. Heat the margarine in a pan, add the meat and cook it until it is brown, with the onion and garlic in the pan.
  4. Add the peas and cabbage and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Add the water and the package contents. Bring the sauce to a boil, while stirring, then let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add the noodles, mix thru, and then sprinkle the bami with Seroendeng and Fried Dried onions.  Serve with Atjar Tjampoer
