Noodles with Beef and Shrimp, using Knorr Mix for Bami with Oriental Vegetables and Spices |

Ingredients:300g (10 ½ oz.) Rice noodles (Miehoen) 300g (10 ½ oz.) lean beef 2 shallots 2 garlic cloves 100g (3 ½ oz.) kohlrabi 100g (3 ½ oz.) Chinese cabbage 25g (7/8 oz.) margarine 1 package Knorr Mix for Bami 100g (3 ½ oz.) fresh or cooked shrimp 2 tbsp (30mL) chopped celery 2 tbsp (30mL) Dried Fried Onions 150mL (½ cup) water |
Directions:- Cook the rice noodles according to package directions.
- Cut the beef in pieces, the shallot in slices and chop the garlic very fine. Cut the koolrabi and Chinese cabbage into pieces.
- Heat the margarine in a pan, add the beef and cook until it is brown.
- Add the shallot, garlic, koolrabi and Chinese cabbage.
- Add the water and package contents. Bring the sauce to a boil while stirring, then let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the noodles and shrimp and mix in. If using raw shrimp, add shrimp before noodles, cook shrimp till pink. Do not overcook. Sprinkle the bami with the celery and Dried Fried Onions.
